What Climate Change Means for Montana
COLUMBUS — Scientist Steve Running will speak in Columbus at noon on June 7 in the Fellowship Hall of the Columbus Congregational church. Running’s one-hour presentation will address climate change impacts on Montana, particularly the state’s agricultural sector.
Running is a Professor Emeritus of Ecosystem and Conservation Sciences at the University of Montana. He was a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for its work.
This program is sponsored by Stillwater Rising, a non-partisan group working to strengthen the community through education and advocacy.
The public is welcome.
